How data is gathered

Every figure is read from the broker's own public pricing, fee-schedule or margin page. Each value on this site shows its source link and the date it was retrieved. If a broker's official pages don't state a figure, we mark it unverified instead of estimating.

Update cadence

An automated check re-reads each broker's official pages weekly (Mondays) and flags changes for review before anything is republished. Pages that block automated checks (E*TRADE, Fidelity fee PDF) are checked manually.
